Showers and thuhdershowers were expected in the south and central today, possibly becoming heavy at times as the weather system moves toward the Great Lakes. Rain was expected to reach the northeast' corner of Ohjo during the afternoon and showers were to continue over the state tonight, diminsihing somewhat Friday.

Cleo Geisler, 87, 624 E. Center died early Wednesday at Moravian Villa, Milan, where she, had been since June. Mrs. Geisler was a native of Arcadia and married William Geisler March 25, 1907. Their married life was spent in Bellevue.

He died in 1957. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving area daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Helen) Freeman, Bellevue; a son, C.

Dale, Port Clinton; four grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren, and a sister. Mrs. Arthur (Bessie) Clemons, London. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Harris Funeral Home with burial in Bellevue Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Howard Schmiesing TOLEDO The Rev. Howard J. Schmiesing, who served in the Gib-sonburg St.

Michael Parish from 1953 until 1963, died in St. Vincent Hospital Wednesday evening following a lengthy illness. A native of Minster, he was ordained in 1935 and served in parishes in Sandusky, Lucas, Erie and Hancock counties before retiring from the Catholic Diocese of Toledo in June 1975. He is survived, by a sister, Mrs. Elsie Elsas, Tavares, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Hoefling Mortuary at 201 Piatt East Toledo, after 7 p.m. today. The body will lie in state at the Sacred Heart Church, Toledo, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday John E.

Mrs. Letourneau, native of Bellevue, lived most of her lifetime in Norwalk. Survivors are her widower, Henry; three daughters; two sisters, including Mrs. Freda O'Dell, Bellevue; a stepdaughter; three stepsons; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Frank L. Houck ATTICA Services for Frank L. Houck, 89, Route 1, will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Bismark.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Mr. Houck, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in Mansfield General Hospital. He had been ill two years. Survivors include two daughters, one Mrs.

Lucille Bumb, Bellevue; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one brother. at the Foos and Son Funeral Home, Bellevue, is until 9 p.m. today with the rosary recited at 8 p.m. Dale Hepler Louis Henke Louis F. Henke, 86, 320 N.

Buchanan died Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Memottal Hospital, where he was admitted Monday. Mr. Henke, who never married, was a retired employe of the former Henkel-Clauss Company. He was born in Ottoville, Ohio, Jan.

20, 1891, to Henry and Rosemary (Stienle) Henke. His only survivors are one nephew and one niece. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Sacred Heart Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Weller-Wonderly Funeral Home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Vigil service will be John R. Bastian TIFFIN John R. Bastian, 62, Route 3, a member of the Green Springs Community Band for more than 30 years, died Wednesday evening at his home. He had been in failing health.

Mr. Bastian, a retired dairy farmer, was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Green Springs; Seneca County Farm Bureau, and Union Grange. He served with the 63rd Division Army Engineers during World War II. He and Irma L. Berlekamp were married Dec.

24, 1941, and she survives. Also surviving' are daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Barbara Hudson, Rollersville, and Mary at home; two sons, John Rochester, and Robert Falls Church, and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Jean) DeTray, Tiffin. Funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Jessie William Hay, 416 S. Wood was bound over to the grand jury following an appearance in Fremont Municipal Court Monday. Hay is charged withthefL' Hay was arrested Sept. 6 for the alleged theft of a car owned by i Betty Schuster of Norwalk while it was parked at 1865 Port Clinton Road. Hay led Fremont police, Sandusky and Ottawa County sheriff's deputies and troopers from the Fremont Post of the Ohio State Patrol on a high speed chase that ended on State Route 2 by the Davis-Besse Power Plant.

Hay was found guilty of reckless operation and driving without a license. He was fined $100 and costs, licenses suspended one year and sentenced to six months in jail. Denzil M. 424 County Road 60, Helena, was found guilty of public intoxication and was fined $50 and costs. Thomas W.

MOUNT CORY Jack Lanning, 33, Mount Cory, was fatally injured Monday in a motorcycle accident and died at Bay City Hospital, Springfield, Mass. According to the police he was driving a motorcycle which struck a parked vehicle.

The accident is still under investigation. Funeral arrangements are imcomplete, according to the family. No funeral home was mentioned. Surviving are his parents, Fred Lanning Mount Cory, and Mrs. Betty Millisor, New Mexico; a brother, Fred Risingsun, and a sister Sandra McQuigg, Tucson, Ariz.

A 20-year-old Clyde man was treated at Fremont Memorial Hospital for back injuries following a two-car accident on Limerick Road, just west of the Clyde city limits. Brian Combs, 1606 County Road 224, was injured when his westbound car was struck from behind by another car while he was slowing to make a left turn, according to the Fremont Post of the Ohio State Patrol.
