Beverly J. Humbert GREEN SPRINGS: Beverly J. Humbert, 70, of Green Springs, OH passed away at her home on Sunday, June 23, 2013. She was born on August 30, 1942 in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of Paul "Joseph" and Erva "Jane" (Wadsworth) Humbert.

She was a 1960 graduate of Green Springs High School. Bev then graduated from Cosmetology School and obtained her Beauty Operator's License. Bev was an Instructor at Fremont Gerner to return the to the store. Gerner then allegedly grabbed the em Dustin Gerner ployee by the arm and pushed him out of the way. She also bowled on the Green Springs Women's Bowling League and played on the Women's Dart Ball League. Bev loved to cook, crochet, watch westerns and NASCAR, decorate cakes and listen to Elvis. She especially loved to babysit for her nieces and nephews.

Bev is survived by her siblings, Marilyn Humbert, Fremont, OH, Clinton (Gaynel) Humbert, Republic, OH and Carolyn (James) Edmonds, Green Springs, OH; nieces and nephews, Christy Billings, Michael Shoemaker, Kurt Humbert, Aaron Humbert, Shelly Weaver, Wes Reed and Adrienne Sandwisch; many great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jim Shoemaker; her beloved golden retriever, Duke. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Phylis Shoemaker and niece, Lori Shoemaker. Visitation: Wednesday from 2 4 pm and 6 8 pm at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. (Royster) Butler. She married David R. Wood in Port Clinton on November 22, 1991 and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2002. Goldie was a breast cancer survivor who loved life, and lived it to the fullest. Her family was very important to her and she cherished every minute she was with them.

Goldie also enjoyed the special company of her pets, Tootsie Suzie. She often could be found gardening, canning, and Honkey Tonk dancing! Survivors of Goldie include her mother, Bertha E. Butler; daughters, Theresa L. (Thomas) Broadstock, and Mary K. White; sons, Frederick S.

(Ruthann) Wenger III, and David R. (Hailey) Wenger; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Mike) Key; and brother, Larry Butler. Daniels LINDSEY: Shirley J. Daniels, 69 of Lindsey, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Countryside Continuing Care Center. Shirley was born in Port Clinton on April 29, 1944 to Emery and Dorothy (Morgan) Bahnsen. She graduated from Port Clinton High School and later became a seamstress at Saddleman Inc. in Fremont, retiring in 2006.

On January 5, 1980, she married Phillip Daniels at Peace Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. Shirley enjoyed camping and traveling, as well as quilting, sewing and baking. Surviving along with her husband are children, J. P. (Jean) Anderson of Fremont and Jeff "Red" Anderson of Kansas, OH; step-daughters, Kim Mears of Amherst and Sheri (Dave) Kopcak of Fremont; step-son, Mike (Sue) Daniels of Green Springs; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; infant son, James Anderson and grandchild, Tyler Daniels. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home Cremation Services, Fremont from 2-4 p.m. 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Maureen Pump will be officiating.
