CHARGED I Monday I Matthew Lahman, 35, of Fremont, breaking and entering. I A 33-year-old Sandusky man, failure to comply, failure to appear, driving under the influence. I A 42-year-old Fremont man, driving under the influence.

GUNSHOTS I Monday 1 5:33 p.m., a Ballville Township ly one month ago she ordered a sandwich at Rally's restaurant and received a large shard of glass inside the sandwich, 801 E. State St.

INVESTIGATION I Monday I A 36-year-old Fremont woman reported an incident police are investigating as a possible case of gross sexual imposition, with an 18-year-old Fremont man listed as a suspect and a 14-year-old Fremont girl listed as the victim. man reported hearing gunshots behind a home on the 1900 block of Baker Road.

ENDANGERING CHILDREN Monday 1 12:44 p.m., a deputy assisted Sandusky County Children's Services investigators after it was reported that a 6-year-old child had a large amount of unexplained bruising, 5200 block of Sandusky County Road 247, Townsend Township. Tobias J. Keegan, 25, of Vickery, was arrested on a charge of endangering children, a third-degree felony. MISCELLANEOUS I Monday 1 10:49 a.m., a Lindsey woman asked deputies to respond to her home because her husband was out of control, 100 block of South Main Street. NOISE COMPLAINT I Monday 1 10:43 a.m., a Ballville Township woman complained about a neighbor's loud music and said it is an ongoing problem, 100 block of Norbert Drive.

FREMONT POLICE FIGHT I Monday 1 9:31 p.m., a woman reported a man and woman were arguing and possibly fighting in front of a neighboring home, 500 block of South Clover Street. Officers reported finding nobody in the area when they arrived. FRAUD I Monday I L23 p.m., a resident reported receiving a letter, supposedly from the federal government, telling him his 17-year-old son owed money since he didn't file for federal taxes in 2001. Officers determined the letter was likely fraudulent and stemmed from an incident several years ago in which Social Security cards for all family members were stolen while they were visiting Texas. MISCELLANEOUS I Monday 1 11:47 a.m., a 19-year-old Fremont woman reported that near Julius Bozendorf For the obituary of Julius Bozendorf, who passed away on March 6, 2011, the husbands of Deb Nevarez and Drema Crist were inadvertently omitted.

Sons-in-law, Rey Nevarez and Mark Crist were very dear to him. Glenn V. Smith FREMONT: Glenn V. Smith, 79, of Fremont, died early Monday, March 7, 2011 at his home. He was born on July 7, 1931 in Fremont to Herman and Ruth (Grundy) Smith.

Glenn attended Fremont Ross High School and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Donna LaVone Cooper and she preceded him in death in 1993. Glenn was a retired supervisor at CE Basic Inc. and later worked at Thatcher Dry Cleaners, drove school bus and was head of security at CCC Camp Quilter. He enjoyed helping other people and spending time with his friends.

Surviving are children, Cody Smith of Fremont, Glenn (Sandy) Smith II of Woodville, Andy Smith, Jeffrey Smith and Joe Smith all of Fremont; six grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren; siblings, May Hepner, Jack Smith, Nancy Roach and Ward Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; siblings, Leroy and Lois. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home Cremation Services, Fremont. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.

Coble, Willoughby and Thompson each were indicted on one count of burglary, a third-degree felony, and one of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony, in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court. Coble also was indicted by the court in October on a fifth-degree felony count of theft.

Coble was sentenced in December to 39 days in jail and five years of probation. He was ordered to complete substance abuse and economic crime programs. Sandusky County Sheriff's deputies arrested Willoughby and Brandon Coble, 22, also of Clyde, earlier this year. Both admitted taking items from a Clyde home March 26, according to police reports.

A third man, Teremy Thompson, 39, also of Clyde, admitted to buying felony charge of receiving stolen properly in October in connection with the crimes. He was entered into a diversion program in lieu of a conviction. Thompson pleaded guilty to a single charge of grand theft and faces sentencing at 10:30 a.m. April 4. Common Pleas Judge Barbara Ansted ordered Willoughby to pay $1,531.75 in restitution to the victim.

James Malcolm Bierce PORT CLINTON: The Honorable James Malcolm Bierce, 79, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died February 26, 2011 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, assisted the family with arrangements. Kenneth P. Ackerman FREMONT: Kenneth P. Acker-man, 90, of Fremont died Monday morning at Bethesda Care Center.

He was born in Fremont on August 13, 1920 the son of Jacob and Anna (Livingstine) Ackerman. On September 20, 1947 he married Myrtle Hausman at First United Church of Christ. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2010. Mr. Ackerman was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II in the South Pacific as a member of the 33 division, 123rd infantry.

Kenneth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Surviving is his son, Kevin Ackerman of Marion, OH; daughter, Cynthia Ackerman of Fremont, OH; sister, Dorothy Wheeler of Fremont, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and three brothers. Visitation will take place Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral Cremation Service, 416 S.

Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio 43420. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday from the funeral home with Pastor James Avers officiating. He was born on August 21, 1922 in Fremont to Benjamin A. and Catherine L. (Buehler) Keller. Reynold served in the US Army with the 1st Cavalry during WWII where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal; Bronze Arrowhead; Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with three Bronze Stars and the Philippine Liberation Medal with two Bronze Stars. He was in the battle at Bismarck Archipelago; New Guinea and Luzon.

He was wounded in March 1945 at the battle in Luzon and was awarded a Purple Heart. Reynold married Lillian Pressler on June 9, 1943 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2010. He owned and operated Keller Painting Company as a self-employed Painter for forty-five years and retired in 1985. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years. Reynold is survived by his children, Sherry (Lee) Bauders, Clyde, OH, Roger (Phyllis) Keller, Fremont, OH and Robert Keller, Clyde, OH; daughter-in-law, Sherry Keller; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; seven great grandchildren; and four step- great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian Keller; and brother, Russell Keller. Coleman, 67, of Cedar Fremont passed away on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 at home. He was born on June 17, 1943 in Fremont, the son of Paul Dalton and Eva Mae (Hawley) Coleman. John married Judy K. Smith on January 27, 1962 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fremont and she survives.

He first worked at Hetrick Garage and then worked for the Fremont City Water Maintenance Department for thirty years, retiring in 2000. After retirement he worked at Jake's Garage and cooked for the crew. John was a member of the Fremont Eagles where he was the founding member and 1 Bone Head, a Social member of the VFW; American Legion and Fremont Moose. John was a good friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. John is survived by his wife, Judy K.

Coleman; daughter, Rhonda (Tom) Loucks, Fremont, OH; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John J.
